Chapter   1 “HONEY, IS TIMOTHY   ready for school?” Judy Anderson asked as she made a peanut butter sandwich.         “Yes, dear. His homework and essay are in his book-bag,” replied William Anderson.         The Anderson’s lived in a quiet town of Clintwood, North Carolina. It was nestled about twenty miles outside of Asheville. They chose this area for its fantastic scenery, as well as the schools,  were top rated of the whole state.         “Son, have a great day at school. I hope you get an excellent grade. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.” Judy said as she walked Timothy to the bus stop.         Timothy turned and smiled, “I hope so too, Mom.” By that time the bus was just pulling around the corner. Timothy stepped o

Dr. Seuss is a classic, loved by many.

Who hasn't read a good Dr. Suess children's book? I know I have read many during my childhood. Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and so many more. His books had been loved by many children across the United States. Schools still celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday and host different activities throughout that week. I remember one time in Elementry school my teacher fixing the class green eggs and ham and reading the story to us. What fond memories reading a Dr. Seuss classic.          How The Grich Stole Christmas made its appearance in 1957. It has been watched by millions and still appears today. It's one of my favorite movies to watch with my family during the Christmas season. It's not Christmas at my house till we watch it. The movie is full of meaning, and it takes a true author to tell a story like that. (Applause)           Dr. Seuss isn't actually a person's name. It's a pen name used by Author  Theodor Seuss Geisel. He started writing under that

What's on your Summer Bucket list?

I know each one of us has done at least one of these things on this list. The ones that stand out to me are: Eat Outside, Visit A Farmer's Market, (I love to go get fresh fruits and vegetables. How about you?), Take More Pictures. Watch FireWorks, Take a Road Trip and so much more. Going back to taking more pictures. This is one my brother always gets on to me about. He'll say, Are you taking more pictures again? My reply is, Yes, of course. I like to cherish the memories. Summertime is a great chance to make family memories, whether on vacation or having a picnic. My opinion you can never have too many pictures!      Moving on to a Road Trip. I love to explore new areas. A couple weeks ago my family and I took a day road trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We visit at least once a year. It's wonderful there if you've never visited. I'd recommend taking a couple days and visit, or a day trip. Also, we planned the whole trip around it being my Mom's birthday and sho
